Mastication according to the Merriem-Webster dictionary is the process by which food is grinded or chewed by the teeth. This first step of digestion should be done slowly as to ensure all the food bits are broken up evenly prior to swallowing. A vital step indeed in which should be adhered by many but unfortunately that’s not the case.
Yeah, you can say table manners is the next relevant topic…
It seriously ticks the hell out of me seeing the process of food chomping with mouth wide open being done across the table away from me.
Though tolerable by nature but the attributes brought about by this single guy at work simply brings about the intolerability. It was almost like a gruesome 2nd time slaughter, I must say as I witness the meat go through that orifice of his. The in between slurps of liquids continued by serious chomping is horrific. Matters are made worst when he decides to incorporate either innocent conversations or peering into other’s reading material at the same time having food bits dangling at the sides of his mouth. Multi tasking is a common approach by many to save time but some just does not work well that way.
He makes me wanna scream 'Nooooooooooo' everytime he walks into the pantry. Eurgh! Well,15 more shifts to run before I can bid this scenario a farewell hoping never to stumble upon the same in future.
*crossing my fingers on that last one*
